Thanksgiving is behind us and the leftovers are before us. My favorite part of Thanksgiving. I always make extra just to have leftovers…imagine that? Loving leftovers the way I do, I also get gifted with leftovers neighbors do not want. Better give to me than give to the trash. Sometimes, I Makeover their Leftover and return the love!

Have more leftover rolls? Turn them into STICKY ROLLS for a quick breakfast!
In a non-stick muffin tin, place a dab of butter, 1-2 tsp maple syrup (or 1 tsp corn syrup), chopped nuts, and if desired, 1 tsp brown sugar & cinnamon. Place rolls, top side down over mixture, press down. (Bottom of rolls too brown already? Cover pan with foil. Rolls too big? Cut in half.) Bake at 400* for 10 minutes. Let cool briefly. Carefully remove rolls & spoon any extra goodness over rolls.

Everyone always asks me about leftover turkey. Sure the famous turkey sandwich. I like mine open-faced toasted in the oven with cheese, of course! But I’m a Louisiana girl, so there is only one choice for me Turkey and Andouille Gumbo using the turkey carcass and the leftover meat.
If I happen to have any more turkey and gravy leftover. I make turkey stroganoff! Simply sauté some onions and mushrooms. Add the gravy. (and any leftover veggies, too) Stir until hot. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream. Serve over egg noodles.
